Bless us, O Lord, for these Thy gifts,

which we are about the receive,

from Thy bounty through Christ our Lord.

We pray for all those who go without food today.

Amen.

 

Prayer After Meals

We give you thanks, Almighty God, for all our benefits.

And may the souls of the faithful departed, 

through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen. 

 

Dismissal Prayers:

 

Prayer for Safe Travel

Angel of God,

my guardian dear,

to whom God's love, 

commits me here.

Ever this day,

be at my side,

to light and guard,

to rule and guide. 

Amen. 

 

Prayer for Soldiers

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands,

Protect them, as they protect us.

Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us

in our time of need.

Amen. 

 

Act of Contrition

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.

In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good,

I have sinned against you, 

Whom I should love above all things.

I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, 

and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.

Our savior, Jesus Christ, suffered and died for us. 

In his name, my God, have mercy.
